Yes, it's a bit confusing/confused. They are talking about P-states, the p4_clockmod deals with throttling (T-states), not frequency scaling[1]. So I guess they didn't get your question right or you didn't include the necessary information. Also, you may want to redirect most of this discussion to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list (where probably the same engineer that answered to you is usually hanging out). Sorry for not mentioning that before.
