Package: splashy Version: 0.3.3 Severity: normal Dear Splashy maintainers,
after booting my laptop I wondered why my cpu fan got louder. I started top and saw that the splashy process consumed 100% cpu load. This happens every time after I have booted the laptop. It does not matter what I do then (for example log in to KDE session): It takes some time and I get the following error message on tty1 and the splashy process is gone: Splashy ERROR: Timeout (120 sec) occurred while waiting for a message on the Splashy socket (!) [ 1084: 0.000] --> Caught signal 11 (at 0x81, invalid address) <-- Regards, Benjamin Eikel Configuration files: /etc/default/splashy # Splashy options # To change Splashy's theme run "splashy_config". See "man splashy_config" # splashy can be enabled by adding splash to your kernel's command line # Splashy will switch to this TTY after finishing at boot # When set to "auto" Splashy will automagically determine which TTY to switch to CHVT_TTY=auto # Set to "1" to allow Splashy to be put inside initramfs # Remember to run "update-initramfs" and read the README file carefully ENABLE_INITRAMFS=0 # Enable/disable debug mode, use with extreme caution!
