Most obviously, disconnected operation. I'm on a train without internet at
the moment, and obtain:
$ wajig whichpkg /usr/bin/snd
JIG Warning: Could not contact the Debian server at
packages.debian.org
Perhaps it is down or you are not connected to the network.
JIG will continue to try to get the information required.

Also, as with various other functions, it seems better for wajig to
delegate. There's less chance of things going wrong, for the user to be
surprised because wajig gives a different result from some other tool that
ought to be equivalent, or for you to be tempted to paper over cracks in
Debian's administration interface by implementing functionality in wajig
that ought to have some lower-level equivalent.
