Hi,
this is mostly in response to bugs.debian.org/385590
python-gst is the GStreamer binding for python.
gobject is in python-gtk2.
I can happily use matplotlib with the Gtk/gobject backend
without having python-gst installed.
If you still think, that python-gst _*might*_ be needed,
put it at "Suggests" (or "Recommends", if your feat is
large enough).
