Are you sure you are actually really using a Debian Binary? Please check ~/bin and /usr/local/bin or other paths in your $PATH variable if there is a snes9x lying around. snes9x 1.42-2 is not linked against that library. Please also try to upgrade your xserver-xfree86 (or which one you're using) and xlibs. If it still doesn't work, please send me the output of `which snes9x` and the output of snes9x with strace: 'strace snes9x <rom-image>'. Thank you very much. Bye, Alain --
