My mail forwarder for sending mail uses Kerberos GSSAPI authentication, and permits no relays at all. This works just fine with, for example, the msmtp mail sending program.
Sorry for the long delay before this reply. I don't have access to any mail forwarders which use kerberos. If you're interested, I can try to do some builds with different kerberos libs and you can see if that makes a difference. Also, see if the problem is fixed in Evolution 2.10.1. Cheers, Øystein
