Package: tilda Version: 0.09.4-2 Severity: normal Hi, I'm trying to use tilda on my powerbook G4 with the "apple" key, I'm unsuccessful however:
GNOME understands the "apple" key as Mod4, using key = "Mod4 + grave" in tilda gives: Bad key: "Mod4" not recognized. Using default of F1 (leaving your modifiers as-is). pressing the key within xev gives: KeyPress event, serial 26, synthetic NO, window 0x1800001, root 0x64, subw 0x0, time 1460957731, (81,127), root:(105,213), state 0x0, keycode 115 (keysym 0xffe7, Meta_L), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 0 bytes: XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes: XFilterEvent returns: False using "Meta + grave" doesn't work, nor with "Meta_L + grave", instead "Alt + grave" works as expected. How can I use the apple key as a modifier? thanks, filippo -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (600, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20.7-susp2 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages tilda depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.18.0-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.5-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.4.4-1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libconfuse0 2.5-3 Library for parsing configuration ii libfontconfig1 2.4.2-1.2 generic font configuration library ii libglib2.0-0 2.12.11-3 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.10.11-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.16.2-2 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libvte9 1:0.16.2-1 Terminal emulator widget for GTK+ ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxcursor1 1:1.1.8-2 X cursor management library ii libxext6 1:1.0.3-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxfixes3 1:4.0.3-2 X11 miscellaneous 'fixes' extensio ii libxft2 2.1.12-2 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxi6 1:1.0.1-4 X11 Input extension library ii libxinerama1 1:1.0.2-1 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxrandr2 2:1.2.1-1 X11 RandR extension library ii libxrender1 1:0.9.2-1 X Rendering Extension client libra tilda recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
