The problem is that it is not available from CTAN, and only available from the AMS site: http://www.ams.org/tools/ http://www.ams.org/tools/mrabbrev.bib OTOH, it is useless in this case. It is a list of abbreviations of AMS stuff. People needing this should download it and put it in the local tree.
