reassign 421367 dpkg retitle 421367 tetex-bin: fails to purge /etc/cron.daily/tetex-bin
Dear dpkg maintainers, unless the cause is a hardware problem, this seems to be a corner case of buggy conffile handling. giggz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Frank Küster a écrit : >> giggz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> >>> Package: tetex-base >>> Severity: normal >>> >>> Hi, >>> >>> I'm on SID. It might be interesting that a couple of packages which must have been installed newly during the teTeX->TeXLive transition declare "Replaces: tetex-bin (<< 2007)", but none installs a file in cron.daily: Package: texlive-base-bin Replaces: texlive-extra-utils (<= 2005.dfsg.1-1), tetex-bin (<< 2007) Package: texlive-latex-base Replaces: texlive-base-bin (<< 2007), tetex-bin (<< 2007) (among others) and $ findpkg -b etc/cron.daily | grep texlive $ (the findpkg script lists packages which contain a filename that matches the pattern "etc/cron.daily", "-b" restricts to "broken" AKA sid) Regards, Frank -- Dr. Frank Küster Single Molecule Spectroscopy, Protein Folding @ Inst. f.
