Does a standard kernel module build on s390 end up building s390x? If so, then yes, this is certainly supported and should be independent of the change I made to add s390x as a base architecture in the last upload. Sorry, was confused by something else and not paying close enough attention. s390 is not frequently tested but should certainly work.
