BTW, I initially reported this as a gettext bug, but it turns out, after investigation by Santiago Vila, who maintains gettext, that this seems to be a bug in the PO editing tool Daniel using (poedit). Just mentioning it here because you might come on this bug again with your Ubuntu hat, Colin..:) The #| lines in PO files should be placed after other comments.
