I'm not sure it's that simple. In the NFS case, the contacts are not in a remote resource from KDE:s point of view, since they appear in a mounted directory in the file system. It's very likely that the problem can be reproduced with other types of file systems. (It would be preferable if they could fix bugs properly instead of disabling functionality.) Marcus
