Package: dhcp3-server

I am having the following problem with dhcp3-server. When I try to start
it I get the following: /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf line 112: subnet
192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0: bad subnet number/mask combination.
subnet 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 with a ^ under the 0.
Configuration file errors encountered -- exiting invoked-rc.d: initscript
dhcp3-server, action "start" failed.
192.168.1.1 is my router address. 255.255.255.0 is the correct netmask
for a Class 3 ip address.
