Hi, Frans! I have some more additional info. My Debian Etch amd64 is running!!
The original memory configuration was 2x256MB Corsaire memory set + 512MB Corsaire memory. This mixed dual&single channel memory was not supported by ASUS A8N-SLI Premium.
