Package: grace Version : 1:5.1.20-5 Hello,
After upgrading to Etch this past week and reinstalling grace on my AMD system I found that whenever I was using xmgrace and needed to search in a higher level directory for either a figure or a data set the program crashed and I received the following error: xmgrace (my command to start the program) Yow 1 Yow 2 Yow 1 Yow 1 Yow 2 *** glibc detected *** malloc(): memory corruption (fast): 0x08203d60 *** Aborted After I noted this problem I "removed" grace with apt-get then reinstalled it; the problem remained. I installed grace6 and the problem also occurs with the error: xmgrace6 Yow 1 Yow 2 Yow 1 Yow 2 Yow 1 Yow 2 Yow 1 Yow 2 Yow 1 Yow 2 *** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (!prev): 0x0828dce0 *** Aborted Any help that you can offer will be very much appreciated.
