Package: openoffice.org Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 Followup-For: Bug #290902
OpenOffice starts on wrong X display even when user logs in over ssh. 1. On ssh server: log into X and start OpenOffice, e.g. Writer 2. Log in from remote ssh client into ssh server under the same user name: 'ssh -oForwardX11=yes -l <user who owns X session on ssh server> <ssh server>' 3. Start openoffice: 'oowriter &' The window pops up on ssh server rather than the client. Setting DISPLAY variable has no effect. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages openoffice.org depends on: ii openoffice.org-base 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 OpenOffice.org office suite - data ii openoffice.org-calc 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 OpenOffice.org office suite - spre ii openoffice.org-core 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 OpenOffice.org office suite archit ii openoffice.org-draw 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 OpenOffice.org office suite - draw ii openoffice.org-impre 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 OpenOffice.org office suite - pres ii openoffice.org-java- 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 OpenOffice.org office suite Java s ii openoffice.org-math 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 OpenOffice.org office suite - equa ii openoffice.org-write 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1 OpenOffice.org office suite - word openoffice.org recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
