Package: mozilla-thunderbird Version: 1.0-3
hi,
it seems my thunderbird can take up to half of the memory of my system. the problem seems to appear when I write a new mail and then close it without saving the mail. a confirmation window appear and half of the memory of my system is taken. I don't have this problem if this confirmation window doesn't appear by saving my mail before closing it.
this is what top and free report after launching thunderbird : top : PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 4838 dabest 16 0 92864 37m 31m S 3.3 9.9 0:05.73 mozilla-thunder
Can you please try to look if this goes away when upgrading to 1.0.2-2 ? Sorry, but people.debian.org is down, so I cannot provide you with testing builds. So do you think you can handle upgrading mozilla-thunderbird to unstable (if you are not already running it) and give it a try?
Thanks
