Package: sane-utils Version: 1.0.18-6 Severity: normal It seems that man page for scanimage is outdated. In particular, I have noticed the following discrepancies: "--resolution" option is not mentioned in the manual; "--mode Gray" is described as a valid parameter in the manual but rejected by scanimage as such. Instead scanimage wants it to be "--mode Grayscale".
Please update the manual. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'sarge-unsupported') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20.4.64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R (charmap=KOI8-R) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages sane-utils depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libieee1284-3 0.2.10-5 cross-platform library for paralle ii libjpeg62 6b-13 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libsane 1.0.18-6 API library for scanners ii libtiff4 3.8.2-7 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-6 userspace USB programming library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime sane-utils recommends no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
