Package: lvm2 Version: 2.02.24-1 Severity: important After making an dist-upgrade none lvm-volumes were mounted on boot. The relevant init-skript seems to be /etc/init.d/lvm for me and this is part of lvm-common, which was removed by aptitude while installing this lvm2 version. The init-skript exit whithout mounting the volumes since /sbin/lvmiopversion is not available.
So please provide an init-skript instead of the deprecated marked one from lvm-common for mounting the lvm-volumes on boot time. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20.6-truhe01 (PREEMPT) Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages lvm2 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdevmapper1.02.1 2:1.02.18-1 The Linux Kernel Device Mapper use ii libncurses5 5.5-5 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libreadline5 5.2-2 GNU readline and history libraries ii libselinux1 1.32-3 SELinux shared libraries ii libsepol1 1.14-3 Security Enhanced Linux policy lib lvm2 recommends no packages. -- debconf information: lvm2/snapshots: lvm2/kernel: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
