Package: sympa Version: 5.2.3-1.2 Severity: normal Hello,
Sympa only suggests httpd. Since it appears that it only needs perl-suid for the fcgi part of the installation, it seems that the dependency on perl-suid could be relaxed to match the httpd one (i.e., make it a suggests instead). I might prefer to run sympa under SuExec, for example, and solve the problem that way. Long term, this will have to be fixed one way or another, as perl-suid is and has been deprecated. But for now, relaxing the dependency should make a start.
