mupacs.el is similar to maplev.el or matlab.el so I thought it should also be part of emacs-goodies-el. There exists a free computer algebra system (GIAC/xcas http://www-fourier.ujf-grenoble.fr/~parisse/giac.html) capable of using MuPACS to interract with emacs so that none of the objections of bug #338333 does apply.
