Casually I've seen that a new version has been released today. As http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/gnome-common/2.18 dates today 9th april. It maybe fix a bug I've discovered that package automake (version 1.10) is not working with gnome-autogen.sh in this package (gnome-common). Package automake-1.9 is needed instead.
