Light Blue on Orange is unreadable. please read an introductory textbook
on readable text, and pay particular attention to issues of contrast and
eyestrain.

white on blue is good. white on black is good. yellow on blue is good.
in general, bright colours on dark very colours tend to be good. dim
colours on bright backgrounds tend to be unreadable. red on blue is bad.

red on green (and vice-versa) is atrocious. complementary colours (e.g.
red and green) are very bad. for many/most people, they create an
illusion of jittering/wobbling. colour-blind people can't read it at
all.
