Hi Dan, It looks like tk8.0 is just too old to work. I'd try tk8.2 but that's not in unstable either. However both tk8.3 and tk8.4 work okay. I'd try installing tk8.4 and then seeing if you can get rid of tk8.0 (and 8.2 and 8.3 if you have them).
