The at76_usb.ko module compiled from at76c503a causes kernel panic in my system: After connecting of my device I get the following information from "lsusb" command: Bus 003 Device 007: ID 2001:3200 D-Link Corp. [hex] DWL-120 802.11b (Atmel RFMD503A) [usbvnetr] And dmesg reports the following information: usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4 usb 3-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice /usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: Atmel at76c50x USB Wireless LAN Driver 0.14beta1 loading usbcore: registered new interface driver at76_usb usb 3-1: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4 usb 3-1: device firmware changed usb 3-1: USB disconnect, address 4 /usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: wlan0 disconnecting /usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: at76_usb disconnected usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5 usb 3-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice /usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: firmware version 1.101.5 #84 (fcs_len 4) /usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: device's MAC 00:xx:yy:zz:ww:tt, (removed for privacy reasons) regulatory domain ETSI (Europe - (Spain+France) (id 48) /usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: registered wlan0 However, when I configure the wlan0 interface, it causes the system to freeze after a random time (from a few seconds to ca. 30 seconds).
