The at76_usb.ko module compiled from at76c503a causes kernel panic
in my system:

After connecting of my device I get the following information from "lsusb"
command:
Bus 003 Device 007: ID 2001:3200 D-Link Corp. [hex] DWL-120 802.11b (Atmel
RFMD503A) [usbvnetr]

And dmesg reports the following information:
usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4
usb 3-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
/usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: Atmel at76c50x USB Wireless LAN
Driver 0.14beta1 loading
usbcore: registered new interface driver at76_usb
usb 3-1: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4

/usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: wlan0 disconnecting

/usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: device's MAC 00:xx:yy:zz:ww:tt,
(removed for privacy reasons)
regulatory domain ETSI (Europe - (Spain+France) (id 48)
/usr/src/modules/at76c503a/at76c503.c: registered wlan0

However, when I configure the wlan0 interface, it causes the system to
freeze after a random time (from a few seconds to ca. 30 seconds).
When I configure wlan0 from the text console, I get the panic log, which
can be seen there:

The last line is: EIP: [<f8b7c18d>] update_wstats+0x6f/0xbd [at76_usb]
SS:ESP 0068:c0375d68
<0>Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt

The problem occures both with HT enabled and with HT disabled, so it is not
associated with the SMP/HT extensions...
