Hi, I've the same problem and I found it has something to do with the gs version. gs-afpl shows the behaviour described in this bug report and gs-gpl works.
As I saw, pspresent starts gs with this options: -sDEVICE=x11 -dNOPAUSE -q -dDEVICEWIDTH=995 -dDEVICEHEIGHT=1406 -dDEVICEXRESOLUTION=72 -dDEVICEYRESOLUTION=72 -dNOSAFER -dNOEPS -dSAFER If I start gs-afpl and gs-gpl from the command line with this options they show different behaviour. gs-afpl draws all slides immediately and gs-gpl opens three windows and draws all slides immediately in the third window.
