Moin! acpid's (1.0.4-7) init script sets MODPROBE_OPTIONS to -Q, unless VERBOSE=no is set. Unfortunately, modprobe (module-init-tools 3.3-pre4-2) doesn't understand -Q, so this ends up in in "Usage: modprobe: (..)" and the module doesn't get loaded.
