Dear Rod, I have been noticed by a Debian developper doing some software audits on the whole distribution that TreeView X will not be buildable with gcc 4.3 unless some (trivial) modifications are applied. You can find more information in the following bug report :
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=417729 There are two ways for me to solve this bug in Debian: either applying a patch locally, or upgrading the package to a new upstream version which would fix the problem. As gcc 4.3 is not yet the default compiler in Debian, there is no hurry. I would like to know if you are interested to release an updated version of TreeView X which integrates the patch proposed by Martin Michlmayr in the Debian bug report.
