Package: sane-utils Version: 1.0.18-6 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/scanimage
It would be nice if I could tell scanimage that it should just keep scanning pages from the ADF until there are no more left. Right now, I have to specify a count of 1000 or so and then simply wait until it errs: [...] scanimage: sane_start: Error during device I/O $ echo $? 9 It would be nice to anticipate this situation. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-amd64 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages sane-utils depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libieee1284-3 0.2.10-5 cross-platform library for paralle ii libjpeg62 6b-13 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libsane 1.0.18-6 API library for scanners ii libtiff4 3.8.2-7 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-6 userspace USB programming library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime sane-utils recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- .''`. martin f. krafft <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : :' : proud Debian developer, author, administrator, and user `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck - http://debiansystem.info `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
