$ apt-get source pptpd $ apt-get source ppp $ tar xvfz ppp-2.4.3/upstream/tarballs/ppp-2.4.3.tar.gz $ cp ppp-2.4.3/pppd/patchlevel.h pptpd-1.2.1/plugins/ $ cp ppp-2.4.3/pppd/pppd.h pptpd-1.2.1/plugins/ $ cd pptpd-1.2.1 $ dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot which compiles successfully.
