Interesting ... maybe there is a mail in your inbox that produces msf corruption? You should be able to figure out if thats due to a specific mail by searching for it in this way: split (real - without .msf) mail folder in two about equally sized parts (e.g. split before a From: line). Then try one and see if created .msf is still broken ... then the other. If both parts don't cause corruption, let me know. Otherwise repeat this for broken part(s) until its goes away ... or until you find the mail that causes corruption.
