Hello, Just realised some additional information:
It doesnt happen for the root terminal only my user. Also I can edit my users profile in gconf ok. Also it seems to be related to a network share which is strange. When i try to edit the profile it asks for access to a network share which i had setup in the default keyring. Now i have removed this it must ask for access, and its only once it connects that it freezes. > If possible, could you try the gnome-terminal version from the > experimental archive and see if it also crash? I will try this now and see, > You could also try to get a backtrace of the crash, here's a short > tutorial, http://wiki.debian.org/?HowToGetABacktrace > > There are a few crashes related to profiles in upstream bugzilla, it > would be good if we could match this with one of them. Tried this and no joy, When the terminal freezes it freezes all other terminals for that user (not the root ones however) so it also freezes the gdb terminal. > By the way, are you running metacity or another window manager? I run the default metacity. Cheers, James Anderson -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
