Package: gaim-guifications
Followup-For: Bug #405593

AFAICT, the themes are all broken by design WRT accessibility and
keeping with desktop colour schemes. Their background colours are
determined by png files. If you make the png transparent it doesn't work
well with a dark desktop theme. If you remove the png then guifications
will silently not work, unless you also edit the theme.xml file to
remove references to the background. If you do that, then the popups are
usable, but are much bigger than normal, because the size is determined
by the png image too.

To fix this bug there needs to be a theme that does not use a png and
knows how to set the size without using a png. Dunno if the code is
flexible enough for that, probably needs some work upstream.

/me looking forward to ditching gaim for good and installing telepathy
