By default the kernel takes the bitrate as configured in the UART so it should be ok as it works with other kernels without this parameter. I wouldn't expect that as all other prep platforms I know of use a 8250 compatible UART. A self-compiled 2.6.11.6 fai kernel works fine. Cheers, Peter (p2).
