Hi, The submitter must have edited /etc/group manually. Jonathan David, can you confirm? (At least, I could reproduce it this way)
The bug doesn't show up if adduser is used to add the group (herge) to the user (tintin) because /etc/gshadow is also modified by adduser. Even if manually editing /etc/group is not recommended, I think that not mentioning gshadow in the newgrp man page is a bug. I will anyway update this man page, write a gshadow.5 man page and submit then to Tomasz (this may close some gshadow related bugs).
