Package: multipath-tools-initramfs Version: 1.0.0 Severity: minor Hi,
Please forgive me some more nitpicking. /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/firmware_hook emits an error when invoked by update-initramfs: ln: target `/tmp/mkinitramfs_l23764//lib/udev/' is not a directory: No such file or directory This does not cause problems, as /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/firmware_qlogic from the firmware-qlogic package copies firmware.agent anyway, but it seems more like happenstance than bulletproof design. If (similarly to the firmware_qlogic hook script) I put PREREQ="udev" in the header, the warning disappears, but I have the feeling that it's not this package's responsibility to deal with firmwares. The separate firmware-qlogic package does it just right, an in non-qlogic cases it could be left to the administrator.
