What is the status of having ikvm provide java-virtual-machine? Is this possible?
I ask because ikvm using Mono seems to run faster (although it takes more time to start up) than Sun Java 6. Additionally, Mono runs on more platforms than Sun's Java, most notably my iBook G3 (powerpc). If there is something I can do to help this come to fruition, please let me know. Thanks. -- Brian M.
