For this, I need a manpage for these programs. If I find some free time, I will wrote one. But you can speedup the process by sending one ;-) > Ditto for the vim code. For this, I will need help from vim wizards. I sometimes use vim, but I do not know anything about its scripting language and configuration files. I just read the vim-policy (vim-common package tell me to look at http://yacoob.dnsalias.net/sakwa/vim-policy.txt ). It tells about /usr/share/vim/addons/ for external scripts and give the vim-latexsuite as an example. With that, it seems that vim files should be put in different sub-directories, but the policy says nothing about them. So, concerning mercurial vim files, I need help: - to choose installation subdirectory in /usr/share/vim/addons/ - to verify that installing these scripts system-wide will not break other things (it is not clear for me that loading HGAnnotate.vim will not forbid users to use the 'standard' CVSAnnotate mode) Until I can answer to these questions (by learning myself or with help from other people), I will stick with vim files in /usr/share/doc/mercurial.
