Package: ppp-udeb Version: 2.4.4rel-7 Severity: important Using ppp-udeb apparently creates resolv.conf 0600, which prevents users other than root from using DNS. The severity is largely diminished by pppd moving the original resolv.conf. However, if using dhclient, the bug will strike.
I have reproduced this on at least 2 of 3 machines tested.
