Package: upsd Version: 2.6-4 README.Debian doesn't mention where upsd logs to, pointing the reader to README.gz which says "Upsd writes it's log messages using the syslog facility, which usually puts them into /var/log/messages."
Unless I'm misunderstanding and there are different levels of log messages, each written to different files, on Debian upsd seems to log to /var/log/syslog. A note in README.Debian saying so would be useful, something like this: 'When running as a daemon, upsd logs status messages to /var/log/syslog.' Thanks. -- Pete Boyd
