Package: avscan Version: 1.3.1-openssl-4 Severity: important -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
Hi, on a recursive scan, avscan stops after scanning 255 files. It reports the results for the 255 first files and ignore any other files in the directory. It gives a false sense of security, as one can believe a directory is virus-free even when only a small subset of the files have been checked.
