Hello, sorry for mistake in an investigation. Is seems that "pidofproc" shell function that returns pid file returns pid file with trailing space which causes the error. This happens with version of lsb in sarge, where it may return more than one pid. So the solution is either to remove quotes or get rid of lsb and use own function for stopping clamav daemon.
