Hi. Stupid question, but is ext2prepare still needed these days? I guess it is needed on filesystems created years ago, but I was able to resize recently created filesystems without much trouble.
Anyway, if ext2prepare is still needed, my choice for the future of the ext2resize package was to Depend on the package e2fsprogs and to provide a stub that either converts ext2resize parameters into resize2fs parameters and calls that or that simply aborts and advises the user to utilize resize2fs instead of ext2resize. Later, say in Debian/Lenny, ext2resize could be removed completely if ext2prepare isn't needed any longer, or replaced by an ext2prepare package if that is still needed. regards, Sven -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
