Package: tex-common Version: 1.2 Severity: important texlive-common calls /usr/share/tex-common/tetex-bin-upgrade, which checks whether /etc/texmf/fmt.d/00tetex.cnf exists and renames it to 01tetex.cnf. But that is not all it does: It also installs/registers the file with ucf, and it does that *unconditionally*.
This means that every system that has texlive installed, even from scratch with no traces of tetex, will have that file. Obviously, this cannot be fixed for etch. But we need some cleanup code for lenny.
