Hmmmm, on my system: | $ dpkg -l linuxlogo | tail -n 1 | ii linuxlogo 4.14-5 Color ANSI System Logo | $ dpkg -L linuxlogo | tail -n 3 | /var | /var/run | /var/run/linuxlogo Apparently everything is in place, so this doesn't seem to be a bug in linuxlogo.
