Package: putty-tools Version: 0.58-5 Severity: wishlist I was using puttygen to extract (?) a public key from a private key (knowing no better way to do this, though ssh-keygen can too). It didn't work until I ran sed -ie 's/\r$//'. Though ltrace indicates that the file was opened as text, there should be some simple thing that can be done to make this that much easier.
