I can see from the log immediately following the warnings that NetworkManager doesn't list a host name. So my question is: are these missing message handlers simply unavailable or do these warnings indicate that there is another problem (like my dhcp server not sending back a host name, of which I am already aware)? I have seen from forum posts that people with network connectivity problems saw warnings about other missing message handlers, so, am I right to assume that the warnings simply indicate no hostname information is available? ---syslog continuing after warnings--- Mar 12 08:35:02 miki NetworkManager: <information>^IRetrieved the following IP4 configuration from the DHCP daemon: Mar 12 08:35:02 miki NetworkManager: <information>^I address 192.168.1.74 Mar 12 08:35:02 miki NetworkManager: <information>^I netmask 255.255.255.0 Mar 12 08:35:02 miki NetworkManager: <information>^I broadcast 192.168.1.255 Mar 12 08:35:02 miki NetworkManager: <information>^I gateway 192.168.1.254 Mar 12 08:35:02 miki NetworkManager: <information>^I nameserver 192.168.1.254 Mar 12 08:35:02 miki NetworkManager: <information>^I domain name 'lan' Mar 12 08:35:02 miki NetworkManager: <information>^IActivation (eth0) Stage 5 of 5 (IP Configure Commit) scheduled...
