It is a bit more complex than that.

As I wrote, bins do not depends on libgladexml-perl but just recommends
it.

bins-edit-gui has code to detect the missing packages by trying to load
some Perl packages (the code is at the end of my first mail to #413910).

I would need a piece of code to detect if libgladexml-perl will work
correctly or not. I could call dpkg to check that libglade-gnome0 is
installed but I would like something smarter.

Do you have an idea?
