What shall we do? It is a bit more complex than that. As I wrote, bins do not depends on libgladexml-perl but just recommends it. bins-edit-gui has code to detect the missing packages by trying to load some Perl packages (the code is at the end of my first mail to #413910). I would need a piece of code to detect if libgladexml-perl will work correctly or not. I could call dpkg to check that libglade-gnome0 is installed but I would like something smarter.
