Package: wodim Version: 9:1.1.2-1 Severity: minor When I tried to blank the CD-RW, I've got the following repeating message from wodim:
Error trying to open /dev/cdrw1 exclusively (Device or resource busy)... retrying in 1 second. That was because I've mounted CD-RW couple of days ago and forgot to unmount it. But it took me 15 minutes to understand that this wasn't a bug in wodim but a bug of mine :) Considering that such things like KDE+pmount can automatically mount inserted CD-media, it would be very good to detect this and show the user more informative message telling that device must be unmounted first. Otherwise new Linux users would be unable to diagnose the problem and to burn an optical media. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-xen-686 Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages wodim depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcap1 1:1.10-14 support for getting/setting POSIX.
