Fullscreen mode is treated as a seperate window by gqview, so the alt-f4 (which is handled by your window manager), simply closes the fullscreen window, leaving the original gqview window. You can then press alt-F4 to close that as well, but again, that's all happening with your window manager, not gqview. > I think that if it did it would be a bit more consistant.
